LOGA’s Ben Broussard Accepts Role with Catholic Services of Acadiana

BATON ROUGE, LA (September 26, 2017)— The Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGA) issued the following statement in response to LOGA’s Marketing and Membership Director, Ben Broussard, accepting a new role as Director of External Affairs and Mission Integration for Catholic Services of Acadiana effective November 1st.

“Over the past 11 years of serving Louisiana’s oil and gas industry, Ben and his family have truly become part of the LOGA family,” said Don Briggs, President of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association. “I am excited that Ben will be able to take the next steps in his career in the service of the most vulnerable in our community.  His faith has always been a central focus of his life and I could not imagine a more perfect opportunity for him. I am proud to have worked alongside Ben and wish him the best in his new position with Catholic Services of Acadiana.”

Ben Broussard served the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association for over 11 years as the Marketing and Membership Director. As Director of External Affairs and Mission Integration for Catholic Services of Acadiana, Mr. Broussard will provide leadership for communications as well as volunteer services while leading legislative advocacy initiatives, developing strategies for expanded church and civil parish outreach, and leading the agency’s disaster response efforts.
